Guests arrive at Rix Mill for a variety of reasons. For some it’s the perfect location for discovering Burgundy, in beautiful grounds and close to a number of Burgundy vineyards, tourist attractions and places of interest, whilst for others it provides a place of peace, quiet and tranquility; the perfect place to unwind, relax and take life at a slower pace or think and create.

Whatever your own expectations, Rix Mill has everything you need. If you are looking for outstanding, high quality, self-catering holiday , then our beautifully appointed 2 double-bed cottage, combining 18^th century features and the comfort one expects today, with its fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, can comfortably accommodate up to four people. The peaceful view on the site it offers will prompt you to dream, read, write, paint or explore, for your exclusive benefit, the 5.5 hectares of meadows and water which will be your environment all along your stay, and watch nature and wildlife available at your doorstep. The surrounding countryside will invite you to walks or bike rides (2 bycicles are available onsite). Fishing, boating, wild swimming, pétanque, badminton and table tennis can be practiced onsite, and locally, microlighting, canoe-kayak and climbing are also available.

Local market, shops and supermarkets in Clamecy (3 kms from Rix) offer all what is needed when in holiday.

On your arrival, we will welcome you around an "apéritif bourguignon" in order to allow you to make yourself home. We will then keep a discreet distance to preserve your tranquility and allow you to enjoy the site as our exclusive guests. If you are staying for the week and if it suits you, we will invite you to a convivial welcome dinner to have more time to share and exchange.
